To address growing demand for DSM’s advanced materials in the Americas region, the plant modernization project includes many enhancements designed to upgrade the plant’s efficiency and safety, including:

• Raw material feeding systems
• Automatic strand pelletizers
• Automated packaging systems
  

The construction phase of the modernization project is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.​​
