Our experts will be at FiE this year to showcase a record number of innovative food & beverage samples that take deliver taste, texture and health in new and exciting ways. As you can see below, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, from cookies to vegan fishcakes – all based on a comprehensive portfolio of solutions both old and new.

That includes game-changing plant proteins (including our new VertisTM plant protein portfolio) and deep plant-based fish flavor with Maxavor® YE; as well as delicious dairy alternatives in plant-based cheese; and our new Delvo®Plant Go offering - which simplifies production of oat-based drinks. Or, in traditional fermented milk products, why not check out our new Delvo®ONE solution - a family of five all-in-one cultures - each with built-in bioprotection.

Another new DSM solution being unveiled at FiE is Panamore® Xtense lipase, which enables bakers to work with more challenging flour qualities with a cleaner label compared to DATEM. And of course, we continue to pack nutrition into all kinds of products with ingredients like life’s™OMEGA (omega-3 fatty acids) and our custom nutritional premix blends.

Marvelous fish alternatives

Sample everything from vegan salmon patties with dill sauce to plant-based tuna sandwich filling – with added nutrition and great sensory qualities. Delivered by our recently launched Maxavor® Fish YE. These process flavors help build deep and authentic fish flavor in everything from vegetarian fish nuggets to vegan fish sauce. We've also created unique concepts like, delicous plant-based chicken skewers with curry-satay sauce and plant-based beef with nacho and vegan cheese sauce.

Delicious dairy alternatives

Discover our range of oat concepts to inspire, from oat-based beverages to plant-based fermented products. Try our ‘#StayStrong oat beverage’ fortified oat and a similar nutritional profile to dairy milk. We’ve also recreated the unmistakable flavor, texture and color of everything from young-and-matured Gouda slices to cream cheese and shredded Parmesan. It’s all thanks to our solutions for plant-based cheese - which include dairy-type flavors and adjunct cultures - plus texture, nutrition and color solutions.

Energize your beverage!    

You can try any of four different energy drinks we’ve developed for FiE featuring a range of novel ingredients. For example, we use a combination of natural caffeine, green tea extract and ginseng to help improve attention and concentration, social functioning and mood; as well as vitamin and mineral premixes to reduce tiredness and fatigue. We’ve even created an energy drink sample aimed at improving eye-health.

Solutions for better baking & confectionery

Enjoy a variety of samples that demonstrate how we deliver better taste, texture and health. We have better-for-you vegan gummies with perfect texture, playful natural colors and immunity benefits. You’ll also find healthy breakfast cookies that pack an energy boost and contain less acrylamide; and delicious, all-natural Granny’s cookies with a delicious heat-stable fruit filling. Our experts will also be demonstrating our solutions for various breads, including wholewheat, brioche and parbaked. 

Plant proteins that create an impact

Explore our vegan options for high-protein energy bars (cranberry & chocolate flavor); and weight management powder and sports powder (both chocolate & vanilla flavor). These samples are aimed squarely at the high-performance generation – delivering added nutrition plus improved texture. We will also be sharing some exciting news on our Vertis™ plant protein portfolio. Stay tuned!

Innovative solutions for dairy 

Visit our stand to discover our FitAge, a lactose-free milk that supports bone health on elderly or our delicious and nutritious yogurts and discuss with our specialists. You'll also find DSM’s Delvo®Phage test kit that can detect phages in dairy within an hour, helping to increase cheese yield and quality, reduce waste and boost value in cheese production by 5-10%.
