Marja Kanning is Product Application Expert Fermented Milk Products at DSM. She has a MSc. in Food Technology from Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Before joining DSM, she worked as project manager and dairy expert at NIZO food research (Food Valley, The Netherlands) for almost 20 years. Focus areas were dairy products and the interactions between the product process and the ingredient process. Her expertise regularly leads to new product development, implementation in factories, process and product optimizations on site at companies worldwide, scientific publications, oral and poster presentations at international conferences, and popular articles.
