ForTii, DSM’s PPA (polyphthalamide) family, helps engineers who need to take these harsh environments into account. ForTii is a breakthrough high-temperature polyamide with heat-stabilized, halogen-free and flame-retardant grades for demanding applications.
The ForTii MX metal replacement portfolio enables engineers and designers to realize structural components with robust part performance over a large temperature range and in aggressive environments (e.g., salts, acids, coolants and mineral oils). That means a high-temperature polyamide with a broad and versatile portfolio of grades that delivers high performance with a unique balance of properties.
Where ForTii has excellent chemical resistance to the majority of chemicals and is on par with the top competitor materials, ForTii Ace surpasses the performance of a wide range of thermoplastic solutions.
