Gert van den Hoven is a Technical Sales Manager at DSM who works alongside some of the world’s foremost cheesemakers to develop distinctive, delicious, healthy, and more sustainable cheese. Gert believes that all great cheese starts with high-quality ingredients, and enzymes and cultures for cheesemaking are no exception.
Gert has been active in the dairy industry for 40 years, with eight of those at DSM Food Specialties as a resident cheese expert. Prior to joining DSM, Gert worked in dairy food research for more than 20 years and as a cheese production manager at a major dairy for 10 years. His experience in research and production makes him an irreplaceable partner for our dairy customers.
