DSM and Vention Medical partner to provide single-source solution for catheters and coatings

DSM and Vention Medical join forces to provide customers a single-source offering for their catheter development, coating and manufacturing needs. The collaboration between DSM and Vention Medical enables device manufacturers to seamlessly integrate the coating design and production into their devices – optimizing the design and manufacturing efficiency. DSM’s materials scientists and applications engineers will now start to work alongside Vention Medical’s device designers and operations personnel to produce coated catheters. This partnership now enables devices being designed, assembled, coated, and packaged under one single quality system and under one roof. In doing so, work in process is kept to a minimum, supply chain is streamlined, and quality control is optimized.

All our coatings have proven biocompatibility, are customizable, and feature a robust and easy to implement UV-curing process. Optimal performance of the UV-cured coating on your device is achieved through customized development of the coating and coating process. In addition, we can support you in commercial production coating application in the coating service plant in our DSM facilities.
