Royal DSM, a global science-based company in Nutrition, Health and Sustainable Living, announced today at the European Coatings Show (ECS), in Nuremberg, Germany, a series of ambitious sustainability targets for its Coating Resins business that will help it to become even more environmentally friendly in the coming years.
The sustainability agenda will help us evolve further into a purpose-led, performance-driven organization that puts sustainability at the heart of our business and that we can all be proud of. Our new targets set out a blueprint for purposeful growth, and outline the path forward for both improving the sustainability value of our product portfolio and the impact of our operations.
Above all, our new sustainability targets are linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) #2 (zero hunger), #3 (good health and wellbeing), #7 (affordable and clean energy), #12 (responsible production and consumption), and #13 (climate action), and look to improve our impact by helping to create healthy living environments, reduce our impact on climate change, and eliminate waste and enable a circular economy.
