Easy to process

Dyneema® fiber can be easy processed into power and data communication cables and umbilicals, whether it’s in various textile forms, via hot overmoulding (even though its melting temperature is lower than aramid) or extrusion coating.



  • Dyneema® can be braided, knitted, helically wrapped by conventional textile machinery 
  • Dyneema® fiber can be overmoulded/extrusion coated with polymer masses (e.g. VLDPE, LDPE, HDPE, MD-E, TPE, and TPU) with mass temperatures exceeding the melting temperature of Dyneema®
