3FL (3-Fucosyllactose) is a highly abundant, α1-3 fucosylated HMO in human milk. GlyCare™ 3FL is presently undergoing development.
Clinical studies suggest a relationship between HMOs and some immune outcomes in infants. Emerging science suggest that specific HMOs, such as 3 Fucosyllactose, at the correct level of supplementation may help to reduce the risk of certain infections in infants consuming infant formula and in infants who are breastfed.
