Royal dsm-firmenich, a global science-based company active in Nutrition, Health and Sustainable Living, today announces the opening of Buk², its newly extended premix manufacturing facility in Buk, Poland. The state-of-the-art plant will enable dsm-firmenich to increase its production capacity and efficiency, while upholding the highest requirements of safety and reliability. The Buk² site sets a new standard of quality in premixes for Early Life Nutrition, as well as being fully equipped to serve customers in the Medical Nutrition and Nutrition Improvement end markets.

With the addition of four new dedicated premix production lines, Buk² will help meet growing demand for reliable and even faster supply of premixes, specifically for consumers who require special care. The best-in-class facility will allow dsm-firmenich to bolster its specialist premix capabilities, using advanced mixing technology to develop tailored formulas for challenging applications. Ideally located to serve markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the Buk site builds on dsm-firmenich’s leadership and expertise in innovation, manufacturing and quality to provide an enhanced level of end-to-end customer support.
