This Privacy Notice applies for instance when you visit our website, when you apply for an insurance, are already an established client or if you contact us for information.

In this Privacy Notice, “DSM”, “we”, “us”, “our”, each refers to DSM Insurances BV (or the tradename DSM Assurantiën) located at Het Overloon 1, 6411 TE in Heerlen.

This Privacy Notice only applies to personal data that are processed under the responsibility of DSM Insurances BV. For private insurances, DSM Insurances BV keeps your data for maximum of 10 years after your last interaction with us.

For claims submitted under any DSM global or general insurance programs to the claims handling department of DSM Insurances BV, you must consider that your data can be stored longer (longer than 20 years) because of lenghty limitation periods of insurance claims. If we keep specific data longer, we will do so to be compliant with legal obligations.

9.  How do we ensure the security of your data?

DSM Insurances BV handles your personal data with the utmost care. We have taken various technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or misuse. We protect our systems in accordance with the applicable security measures from information security standards.
