dsm-firmenich Sustainability Update

In May, dsm-firmenich joined the US Roundtable for Sustainable Poultry & Eggs (US-RSPE) and the International Poultry Welfare Association (IPWA). The US-RSPE and IPWA are important forums that align with dsm-firmenich’s strong focus on promoting and supporting the sustainability of animal agriculture generally, and specifically the North American poultry industry. This new membership adds to the associations in which dsm-firmenich participates, both in North America and globally. For example, last month dsm-firmenich’s North American Sustainability Director, David Dayhoff, participated in the annual meeting of the Dairy Sustainability Alliance, organized by the Innovation Center for US Dairy. dsm-firmenich is also part of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Responsible Meat Initiative (ReMI) and its particular focus on pork. We look forward to connecting with and collaborating with our customers and partners in these and other forums and initiatives.

dsm-firmenich’s overall approach to sustainability for animal agriculture is encapsulated in a strategic focus we call We Make It Possible. If you would like to have a conversation about how we might work with your organization related to your sustainability priorities and goals, please reach out to David Dayhoff at David.Dayhoff@dsm.com.
