Benedict Standen is the Head of Agua Marketing at dsm-firmenich. He obtained his PhD from University of Plymouth in 2015. My primary role as Head, Aquaculture Marketing Global, is to engage with internal and external stakeholders to define and drive the global aqua strategy, support product and pipeline management and coordinate marketing efforts to position DSM at the partner of choice for sustainable aquaculture solutions.
Animal protein production is by far the largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture, and David Nickell is on a mission to reduce its negative impacts. He is Vice President of Sustainability and Business Solutions at dsm-firmenich – a multinational with €12+ billion in annual revenues that was created by the merger this year of Holland’s DSM and Switzerland’s Firmenich.
An agreement with SaaS company Sustained has made it possible for animal protein-level environmental footprint data to be translated into product-level lifecycle assessments for consumer food products, such as milk, eggs, fish, and meat.
