dsm-firmenich ESSENTIAL PRODUCTS

B group vitamins act as coenzymes on different metabolic pathways and, in many biochemical reactions multiple B-group vitamins are involved at the same time. Their presence is fundamental for the normal functioning of the organism.

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin): the anti-anemic factor

Vitamin B12 is a coenzyme in intermediate metabolism. However its main known functionality is its role in blood cell formation and the ability to prevent certain forms of anaemia and neurological disturbancies.
