Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, reports that on Tuesday, 13 September, a fatal accident took place on DSM property in Augusta (Georgia, USA), in which one contractor lost his life. The accident occurred during rebuilding activities.

DSM deeply regrets this tragic accident and expresses its sympathy to the victim’s family.

DSM will carry out investigations into the cause of the accident, in full cooperation with relevant authorities and other parties involved. For the time being, all construction activities on the property have been suspended.
