As we, DSM, are monitoring the ever-changing climate of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to assure you that our number one priority is the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers. In that respect DSM has already some weeks ago established a dedicated global response team which is monitoring the situation closely with internal specialists and external contacts. As part of this, we have started implementing measures already in a very early stage, aiming at securing (i) enhanced safety and health of our employees, (ii) continuity at our production sites, including raw material and packaging sourcing, and (iii) supply within our global distribution network.
For the safety of our employees these measures, in line with the guidance of national governments and international advisories, include avoiding travel, restricted access and intensified screening before entering DSM premises, working from home wherever possible, and reiterating and facilitating good hygiene practices for everyone.
With the additional measures put in place under our business contingency plans we have taken the right steps to safeguard the health of our employees as well as the sustainable production and supply of our products for you. We believe that we are managing the situation well and therefore do not foresee currently any bigger production or supply interruption. Should we become limited in our ability to produce due to external factors we will inform you as soon as possible.
