Mark Austin is the Business Manager for Process Flavors and Customized Taste solutions at DSM Food Specialties and steers the portfolio of Natural Flavors, Flavorings and products made with the kitchen cupboard principle to deliver high quality authentic taste.

Having started his career as a classically trained chef in 5-star Hotels and restaurants in London, Mark has now been active in the Yeast Extract and Process Flavor industry for more than 30 years. His experience and passion for good food and creativity with great taste in mind, brings a perfect combination to our global customers in all sectors of the industry from alternative proteins to traditional sectors such as Soups, Snacks, Sauces and Ready Meals.
